|Polycom Announces Completion of Acquisition by Affiliates of Siris Capital Group, LLC (Nov 8, 2016)
|Polycom, Inc, announced the completion of its acquisition by affiliates of Siris Capital Group, LLC ("Siris" or "Siris Capital") in a transaction reflecting an equity value of approximately $2.0 billion in cash. Polycom's stock will cease trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol PLCM, effective 9-27-2016.
"We are excited to be a part of Polycom's next chapter as we jointly work to create sustainable, long-term value for customers and partners," said Daniel Moloney, Executive Partner, Siris Capital. "Together, with Mary and her team, we will enhance Polycom's strategy to lead the market in audio, video and content collaboration solutions and continue to provide customers with the same high level of commitment, focus, innovation and support."
In connection with the closing of the transaction, the company, which will continue to operate as Polycom, Inc., will be wholly owned by affiliates of Siris Capital.

|Polycom Agrees to End Mitel Merger (Jul 21, 2016)
|Polycom Agrees to End Mitel Merger Agreement and Approves New Merger Agreement With Siris Capital
On July 7, 2016, Polycom's board of directors had received a unilaterally binding offer from Siris to acquire all outstanding shares of Polycom common stock for a price of $12.50 per share in cash and the Polycom board of directors determined that Siris' proposal constituted a "Company Superior Proposal" under its merger agreement with Mitel. On July 7, 2016, Mitel Networks Corporation waived its right to renegotiate its merger agreement with Polycom after receipt of notice of the Polycom board's determination. As a result, the Polycom board of directors authorized Polycom to terminate the Mitel merger agreement, pay the Mitel termination fee and enter into the Siris merger agreement. Polycom intends to pay the Mitel termination fee today and enter into the Siris merger agreement immediately thereafter.
