The Algo 8305 has three key connection points: a telephone port that connects to a paging amplifier’s talk battery port, an 8 Ω output that can connect to self-amplified speakers, and a line output. As a SIP-compliant device, the 8305 makes it possible to connect existing legacy paging systems to VoIP or UCaaS platforms. The 8305 is also multicast capable enabling legacy systems to be used alongside IP devices.
